spring bullets

I've got some updates/stories for you in bullet form:
  • Noah wanted to give me a "hug with our tummies touching" the other day
  • Noah was home sick from school this week with an awful cough and nose thing but is better now.
  • Noah likes to help make applesauce
  • We still wear Noah in a sling, especially when he wants to cuddle during dinner prep, when he doesn't feel good, or just cause
  • Noah has become feed the kitties helper
  • Noah and his friend Scotty at school have been playing the "bird game" at school when outside. A different bird everyday. Apparently, the other day they were pigeons and when asked what they do, Noah says they eat worms and Scotty says they sit on statues. So they run around from place to place outside siting and stretching their wings.
  • Noah is wearing his eye patch 4 hours a day
  • Noah wears adult size hats...has taken ownership of one of our bike helmets and one of Daddy's baseball hats
  • Noah was taking the batteries out of his camera today because he "wanted to see the inside to see how it works."
  • He also just in general wants to know how things work.
  • Noah likes to make up words then he says, "that is [spanish, german] for ..." or "that means ..."
  • Noah's friend Scotty's mom is from Austria and she let us borrow a few german cds with kids music on it. noah actually really enjoys listening to them.
  • Mama broke the blender
  • We planted some seeds last week in little planter thingies and then had set them outside on a nice day for some sun...some of them blew away. there goes orange sweet peppers, some zucchinis, and basil from seed
  • Noah likes to build machines and houses out of legos

  • Noah and I found his stuffed animal sling, and despite the warnings that you shouldn't drive while holding a baby...

  • We're hoping to start Noah in suzuki piano lessons this summer. now must find a piano.
  • Lots of things lately have become space ships or rockets
  • Noah is making a telescope out of a toilet paper roll

Yeah, babywearing while driving is definitely not acceptable. Nor is looking so cool belly surfing on a laundry basket. Keep it up dear Noah!
