After a week of unspring like weather, we had nice spring weather today. You know, cloudy, kinda drizzley, 55 degrees...perfect for spending time outside doing spring things like checking out flowers or planting a tree or having fun on the swings with a new ride for carter, who, despite the looks on his face, was REALLY having a good time. and noah could spend hours on the swing. "look how high i can go, mama!!"
and playing in the mud
"here, carter, this is how you rub mud all over your hands"
"here, mama, i have a chunk of mud for you. oh? you don't want it? i think maybe i'll put it my mouth and see how that tastes."
btw, mud doesn't taste good, he declares

Beautiful mud pictures! Unfortunately, Josette doesn't seem to mind the mud, happily shoveling it into her mouth :( I really don't know how to let her explore without her eating a lot of disqusting stuff. Wish we were closer!
