funny things about noah

noah's done a few funny things lately, and i thought you might get a kick out of them.
  1. he LOVED going to his first SU basketball game. He stayed interested the whole game, asked questions, and honestly had a great time. He would say, "i saw him make 3 points!" his only complaint was that it was too loud. in all fairness, it was loud, and was an exciting game until the end, but it was cute when he would hold his hands up to cover his ears, press his ears into the respective shoulders of whomever was sitting next to him, or put on his hat to cover his ears. way to be sensitive to your ears, noah man! always use hearing protection! when we first asked him, though, he said his favorite part of the game was "watching people eat pizza." ha! which was really his way of joking with us. he then said his favorite part of the game was when the UPS person brought a big box out to center court and Otto the orange came out.

  2. he told us the other day, "can you put carrots in my lunch instead of pepperoni bites?" this made me smile.
  3. when talking about carter's birthday cake (for next week!! ack!!) he suggested, "why don't we all get our piece of cake and then we can give what's left to carter for him to smash up?" when i reminded him that maybe carter should get the first piece since it was his birthday, "oh yeah!"
  4. there was one more thing i was going to add, but i forgot. :-)
And, in other news, Carter has definitely gotten more confident with his walking. here he his from last week at grandma and grandpa's house. he still won't walk on his own - he usually needs someone to guide him or catch him, but look how steady!! what a sweetie. more from carter in our next post after he officially will no longer be a baby but a toddler!

This comment is about Carter. Pops and I agree that he is definitely walking. He may need a specific destination in mind, but he is definitely a toddler. Yeah, Carter!
