6 months old!!

how is it possible that Carter is 6 months old already? here are just a few random tidbits of his life at a 1/2 year old

• he likes to smile
• he is IN LOVE with his big brother. he wants to do or see whatever noah is doing at all times of the day
• he REALLY wants to move and gets frustrated when all he can do is rotate in a circle on his belly
• he is chomping on anything/everything right now with no teeth in sight
• he makes the sounds 'da' and 'ga'
• he likes to play peekaboo and has an infectious belly laugh
• he likes to watch anything/everything (including the TV) and prefers to sit on my hip in the sling instead of inward facing. he's beginning to tolerate riding on the back, but not for long periods of time
• his sleep cycle is 45 minutes long as opposed to noah's which was 25 minutes long.
• other people besides mama can get him to fall asleep (and can even put himself to sleep sometimes!!!)
• he takes the bottle pretty well despite the fact that mama's milk is high in lipase
• he is beginning to bring his arms up when he wants to be picked up and makes it known when he wants to be held
• he has about as much hair at 6 months old as noah had at 1.5 years
• he always wants to nurse to sleep at night when noah wants mama to help with bath
• he is a really sweet little boy
