- maybe it was a phase, but for a while noah decided that he didn't want to eat the crust of his sandwiches at lunch. and would then proceed to eat the crust on the car ride home. THEN, he went to eating only half of his sandwich at lunch and "saving" the rest for the car ride home. and then recently, decided that he liked his sandwich cut up in fourths rather than just halves.
- no clue what this is about, but now we hear noah talking about ben 10 alien forces.
- we also hear funny other slang phrases like, "easy peasy lemon squeezy" after which he'll exclaim, "EYEBALLS!!" and then laugh hysterically.
- or superlatives like never, always, forever. "this cup of water is going to stay in the bathtub FOREVER!"
- he's getting quite good at puzzles and building with his blocks which from what we hear is always a big hit at school when they get out the new puzzles for new unit. every day in the am before breakfast or when we get home, noah is continuously modifying or building new things out his blocks. i've sorta started taking pictures of all his creations. they're usually machines (this morning it was an almond and raison machine) or houses in which case he'll point out where everyone lives or sleeps. here's an airplane, which i definitely would say looks like an airplane.
noah also has a favorite friend at school who's name is Scotty. fun thing is that i work with scotty's dad and we're going to go to scotty's 4th bday party the week after noah's bday at the fire station. (you suppose he should wear his halloween fire fighter costume to the party?)
- they have a big sand box at school and every day they get to play outside his shoes are FILLED with sand. they must have to refill that thing every year with that much sand missing every day from every kid.
- noah really enjoys working in his workbook at school. the one he just finished was all about the numbers 1-12. i have been very impressed with what he does in the books. practices writing and counting, and even color by numbers, literally "all by himself" so says miss colleen. the best part of workbooks is that when you're all done you can do the stickers that come with the book, and noah LOVES stickers. and yes, that is a bandaid on his face cause he got a bug bite that he kept picking at. thank goodness it wasn't the awful spider bites mama got, but noah still wasn't a fan. still see the mark it made on his face, actually.
- one of other things noah is really enjoying lately is dressing by color. we have an all red outfit that he must wear every week (including socks and underwear). we also have all blue outfits and all green outfits. he also much prefers comfy pants to jeans and khakis. smart boy!! me too!
and now for another fun fall picture.

You gave me an idea for Noah's birthday...
And yeah, that pretty much looks like an airplane.
