the way things work

and so the questions continue...noah is very good at asking questions.  especially, it seems, when we're reading books about trucks. 

1. how do you get in there?
2. how do you open the door?
3. where's the handle?
4. how do you turn it on?
5. who's driving that?
6. where's the key?
7. what's the ignition?

repeat that for every truck or tractor in several truck books.

my other favorite series of questions came today:

1. who built the trees?
2. where do they come from?
3. how do trees grow?
4. why do you cut them? (in response to me asking scott why harner farms trim their apple trees funny)
5. why?

he wasn't very satisfied with the answers to those questions...at least with the trucks he would be satisfied if you named all of the people driving all of the trucks.

you have to laugh a few times with all of the pounding of questions, but oh goodness, its exhausting!!  

and on other news...noah is diaper free at toni's the past few days (knock on wood).  I can't believe it!!  don't tell her that we're starting to look for other preschools starting this summer.  

noah's little friend, aaron, had his second birthday party last weekend at the fire station.  it was too much fun.  everyone had so much fun.  (seriously, I had a blast too)  everyone got to ride up in the bucket to the ladder fire truck and got to look at all of the gear and climb up into the trucks.  here are a few pictures cause it was so fun and so cute.
