It's happening so fast!

Its official...Noah is growing up. I mean, who is this handsome young man?

It seems like there is something new going on with him everyday, which is part of the reason why we created this blog. It is just amazing what a wonderful (and smart!!) little boy he's become. Here are some of our new favorite things he's been doing...

He knows that bunnies go hop hop, so when he has his stuffed bunny, Noah will squat down to the floor in that oh-so-adorable-only-babies-can-squat-like-that way and show us how his bunny goes hop hop.

He floored us the other day by signing THREE new signs!! In one day!! Now we have added 'friends', 'cold' and 'hot' to our repertoire. our other favorites lately are 'cheese', 'all done', and 'eat'

Noah LOVES to run around naked before bath time. It was too cute the other day when he stopped in the middle of the living room, he put both his hands behind his back and stuck out his tummy.

Dancing has become a new favorite thing too. He'll point to the stereo and i'll ask him if he wants to listen to some music. "ESSS!!" he says and shakes his head. then we generally put on music from music class and he'll stomp his feet and march. Sometimes he'll grab my hand and we'll march in circles together. But I just like how he dances by marching.

I can tell that Noah and the kitties are going to be great friends. He has gotten so good at petting them nicely and even giving them hugs. Most recently, he's tried to give them water from his sippy cup. When we play find-everybody's-nose game, he goes and finds their noses too. plus, he knows which toys are kitty toys and he'll "give" otto and miles their kitty toys. So smart!!

Even though Noah is certainly quite the mama's boy, he really does love his daddy. The other day when Scott went to campus for the day, we watched Scott start the car, go to the mailbox, and scrape off the windshield after we climbed up onto the couch to look out the window. We said 'ba ba' to daddy many times and waved for many minutes. After he left, Noah got off the couch, went to the front door and was trying to open it thinking Scotty was going to come back. Then he went to the office looking for him. We didn't find him in the office, but we found a picture of daddy on the wall in the hallway. But that didn't seem to suffice. Next he tried heading to our bedroom thinking maybe Scott was in there. And then he looked at me with his palms up in the air (our sign for 'where?') and a big concerned look on his face.

So, there you go...lots of fun Noah things to brighten your day. There will be more to come so stay tunned. In the mean time, here's a fun face to melt your heart.
